    • “Product” refers to the Kijani Box system and any accessories or services sold by the Company.

    • “User”, “You”, “Your” refers to any person accessing the Website or purchasing a Product.

    • “PAYGO” refers to pay-as-you-go payment arrangements offered by the Company.

    • “Subscription Plan” refers to monthly subscription options offered by the Company.

    By using this Website, you agree not to:

    • Use the Website for illegal purposes.

    • Copy or distribute content without permission.

    • Attempt to bypass security systems.

    • Upload malicious software, harmful scripts, or unauthorized content.

  3. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to any user who violates these terms.

    3. PRODUCT INFORMATION

    We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, images, and specifications on this Website are accurate. However:

    • Colors and appearances may vary depending on device screen settings.

    • Technical specifications such as wattage, battery capacity, or Wi-Fi function may vary slightly based on environmental or installation conditions.

    4. ORDERS & PAYMENT

    By placing an order on our Website, you confirm that:

    • You are at least 18 years old.

    • All information provided is accurate.

    • You agree to pay the full amount displayed and accept any applicable payment terms.

  5. We accept the following payment methods:

    • M-Pesa

    • Debit/Credit card

    • Bank transfer

    • PAYGO (where applicable)

    • Subscription/Monthly plan (where applicable)

  6. Orders may be cancelled or refused if:

    • Payment is incomplete

    • Fraud is suspected

    • The Product is out of stock

    • The order does not meet our internal criteria

    5. DELIVERY & INSTALLATION

    Delivery timelines vary based on your county and stock location.

    We aim to deliver within 2–7 working days nationwide.

    Installation options:

    1. Self-Installation:

      Kijani Box is designed as a plug-and-play system. You may install it yourself as long as you follow the installation guide correctly.

    2. Professional Installation:

      If the system is to be connected into home wiring, Kenyan law recommends installation by an EPRA-certified T1 or T2 electrician.

  8. The Company is not responsible for:

    • Faults caused by incorrect installation

    • Damage resulting from unqualified installers

    • Unsafe wiring within your home/business

  9. 6. USE OF THE PRODUCT

    By purchasing or using a Kijani Box:

    • You agree to operate it according to the manual and safety instructions.

    • You agree not to open, modify, bypass, or tamper with internal components.

    • You agree not to overload the system beyond its rated capacity (500W continuous).

    • You are responsible for the SIM card used in the Wi-Fi router and any bundle purchases.

  10. Improper use may void your warranty.

    7. PAYGO & SUBSCRIPTION PLANS

    Where PAYGO or Subscription options are provided:

    • Payments must be made on or before the due date.

    • Late or missed payments may result in service disconnection.

    • Devices under PAYGO or Subscription remain property of Kijani Box Ltd until fully paid.

    • The Company may remotely disable PAYGO devices for non-payment.

  11. 8. REFUND & RETURN POLICY

    Returns are accepted within 7 days only if:

    • The Product is unused

    • Packaging and accessories are intact

    • Proof of purchase is provided

  12. Refunds will not be issued for:

    • Incorrect installation

    • Damage caused by misuse

    • Physical damage, fire, water, or tampering

    • Expired warranties

    • Network provider issues (Wi-Fi bundles or SIM card problems)

  13. A restocking fee may apply.

    9. WARRANTY

    All Kijani Box units include a 2-year warranty covering:

    • Manufacturing defects

    • Inverter faults

    • Battery faults

    • RCD/safety system faults

  14. Warranty does not cover:

    • Damage from incorrect installation

    • Overloading the system

    • Unauthorized repairs or modifications

    • Environmental damage (floods, lightning, pests)

    • Use of low-quality accessories or counterfeit solar panels

  15. Warranty claims must be processed through:

    • Kijani Box shops

    • Official technicians

    • Our customer care contacts

  16. 10. SAFETY

    Kijani Box includes:

    • RCD protection

    • Surge protection

    • Overload protection

    • High-quality battery safety systems

  17. However, the user must:

    • Ensure proper earthing during installation

    • Avoid connecting high-draw appliances (kettle, iron, heater, microwave)

    • Follow all safety instructions provided in the manual

  18. The Company is not responsible for accidents arising from non-compliance.

    11. CUSTOMER CARE

    12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

    All Product designs, trademarks, logos, images, drawings, manuals, and website material are the property of Kijani Box Ltd.

    13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
